Collection of three operas by Giuseppe Verdi. ‘Il Trovatore’ is conducted by Carlo Rizzi with soloists including José Cura, Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Yvonne Naef. ‘La Traviata’ is conducted by Antonio Pappano and sees Renée Fleming, Joseph Calleja and Thomas Hampson in the lead roles. ‘Macbeth’ is also conducted by Pappano with Simon Keenlyside playing the eponymous character with Liudmyla Monastyrska and Raymond Aceto in supporting roles. All performances feature the Orchestra and Chorus of the Royal Opera House.
